Well, I said I was going to makeover the fireplace in the first posting, and here it is ...

 
The before and after -- from a white wall to a faux finish wall that makes this room a dramatic one; a true focal point of this room.  The colors were inspired by the vase sitting on the floor in front of the fireplace, and turned out to be a great match!
